Using D’Alembert and Martingale systems

Jean le Rond D’Alembert was a mathematician, physicist, mechanician and philosopher. He lived in 18th century and many of his scientific works are still used such as D’Alembert system, D’Alembert principle, and D’Alembert paradox. According to the D’Alembert system, the number of successful bets may be increased significantly even with a minimum budget. This method is commonly used in the stock exchange, the game of Roulette, betting and lotteries. The formula is pretty simple. Every time you lose, you need to place one bet more i.e. to double your bet. For instance, if you bet \$ 10 and you lost, the next round you need to bet 2 times your initial bet i.e.\$ 20.  In this way, the win after the loss should compensate all your loss at once and twice that much. If you lose again, you need to double it again. If you win, next round you need to place the same bet.

According to the Martingale system – one of the most popular strategies in the world of gambling games – a player increases his bet if he loses and adds the value of  his initial bet and places again his initial bet in case he wins. For example, if you bet in Keno \$ 20 and you lose, the next round you should place a bet of \$ 40 plus \$ 20 (your initial bet) - \$ 60 total and that will help you to minimize the effect of losing the first time. In case you win the second round with your bet of \$ 60, the next round you should place a bet of \$ 20 again i.e. your initial bet. This system is definitely more aggressive than the previous one and increases you chances to double the profit and unfortunately, increases the chances to double your loss as well.
